I had the initial consultation with the bariatric surgeon today and it went well.  I spent more than a half-hour talking to her and asking questions, then she did a brief exam.  I now have a 3-ring binder listing everything I have to do before surgery.  She wants me to do a 6-month supervised weight [...]

Appointment with surgeon

I finally made an appointment for an initial consultation with a weight loss surgeon.  I’m still not sure whether I’m going to get the lap band or the gastric bypass, nor am I sure whether I’m actually going to go through with it, but as least I’ve finally made the first step!
